The quality of the wood used was either the downfall or success of each model coupled with an ongoing improvement to design. Our goal is to maintain these strict standards of design and durability by using only original telephone box panels and parts for any repairs or alterations made to the telephone boxes during the restoration process. All colour schemes are taken from the original street models and all paint and other materials used is as "close to" or the "modern equivalent" to the materials originally used.
