These phone boxes are unique to Australia with a design that strayed away from the traditional metal British "K model" Kiosks, utilising the enormous range of top quality Australian and imported wood available at the time. The quality of the wood used was either the downfall or success of each model coupled with an ongoing improvement to design. Our goal is to maintain these strict standards of design and durability by using only original telephone box panels and parts for any repairs or alterations made to the telephone boxes during the restoration process. All colour schemes are taken from the original street models and all paint and other materials used is as "close to" or the "modern equivalent" to the materials originally used.
We buy and sell telephone boxes or restore your telephone box to your specific requirements. The telephone boxes we sell are restored in fine detail and are all rare and original collectables bearing the identification information (call signs and/or cabinet identification numbers). All work carried out on the boxes is done by qualified professionals to ensure the best results in the restoration process. You can also browse amongst our examples of antique telephones and payphones to match the right phone for your box. Here you can find historic information on the telephone boxes and other useful information to help you restore and identify your own red telephone box.
