Here we have a classic example of the Queensland and Western Australian PMG model phone box with vented side panels. There are 2 variations of this model. The earliest form is the 4 pitched roof, reminiscent of the early flag model exempting the ventilation cap at the top, and the standard flat pitched roof that is a flat roof with slight pitching to allow water run off to the side of the box as shown below.
