Our purpose of restoration is to preserve what wood remains on the box as much as possible whilst still maintaining the safety of structural integrity. We only use modern products in the restoration process if it is deemed necessary and do not cut corners for our own convenience. If you restore the paint and remove any rot every 5 years you will increase the life of your phone box for many more years to come. Joints may fracture over time (some sooner depending on stress and conditions) but will not lose structural integrity unless undue stress is applied ie. tipping the phone box to one side without bracing. Pick-up and delivery can be arranged or you can save money by bringing your phone box to us.
Not many people are aware that they are covered by insurance for loss or damage to a red telephone box in cases of theft, fire, flood or any other unforseen event. In any case it always pays to make sure your valuable phone box is covered under your insurance policy to protect from the elements that have claimed so many victims in the past.
